  • 1 cup bread crumbs

  • 1/2 cup milk

  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup provolone cheese, sliced
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon mustard

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, milk, onion, green pepper, mushrooms, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Press half of the meat mixture into the bottom of a loaf pan.
